We a delighted to offer a pre-conference workshop on the basics and foundations of mass spectrometry techniques. It will run before GGRiP on 13.30-17.00 Monday 23rd and 09.30-12.00 Tuesday 24th. The course will be aimed for new researchers just starting out in mass spectrometry. The course is free to all attending GGRiP both in person and remotely. Remote attendance will be available.
Overview:
- Introduction to Atoms, Molecules, Ions, Fields and Forces.
- Inorganic Mass Spectrometry for Elemental and Isotope Ratio Determination: Quads, TOF, Sectors, (CC)-MC-ICPMS.
- GC and LC Mass Spectrometry Techniques for Separating and Quantifying Molecules in Complex Mixtures; compound specific IRMS (C,N,H).
